Projects like this are "viral marketing."  They hope it will increase talk, and by extension, their audience.  Sad, when more luke-warm trips isn't what the show needs.

I have to wonder - are they really that dim - or do the suits really not know why the show is not the block-buster it once was?

You know I love things, especially when they are free, so I signed up.  I have gotten two issues.  They appear to be a short summarizaiton of what they post nightly on the website after the show.  I  am a StreamLink member.  Anyone can go to the website and get the same information if they choose.

Now, I don't have to type in the address, they have mine.  George comes to visit every morning via the CoastZone.  Twenty-four hours a day, if  I choose, I can have access to him.  My life is not the same, I am being overstimulated by the presense of Noory.  Is this another form of the quickening that Art referred to in his book?

Michael you have such a traditional view of marriage. It's refreshing I think, to read it. I usually just read it in books. I don't have a problem with saying "wives should clean and cook", I just don't like it when it's militantly said, like some opposition to that view discuss issues.

Has anyone else noticed this?  I subscribed and there is a picture of George's head on it, the one that tries to host.  It also has the words Coastzone on it.   It may be my imagination, but I observed this morning that the head of George Noory just appears to be getting larger on the newletter, just like his ego.  The words Coastzone are being shoved into the background.  This newsletter and the picture is not for the faint of heart first thing in the morning.  Have an ample supply of strong medicine of your choice at side.  This is advice from the Coastzone, etc.

Funny you should say that - since my thought on the matter (and this is even from pre-feminist attitudes) was "Gee -I'll clean your vomit IF you are actually ILL (even if you brought it on yourself a la hangover - shit happens) However  ) I expect you to - if possible: 1) try to make it to the proper receptical (preferably the toilet) and 2) if you're NOT actually ill (as in it was the result of momentary gag refelx) clean it up yourself!

But I did not comment since I didn't think that MV was actually so crude as to to the position of "here wife!  I have puked!  Clean it up!"

Wow. ROFL!  I just received the admin's email about how bad this forum sucks and how he needs to clean it up a bit. Dude, you're gonna have to hide a LOT more channels if you want this site to not suck because the mindless (and never ending repetitive) banter is all over the place. Which reminds me, there's absolutely no reason to visit this board. Oh sure, George Noory sucks, and it's gotten to the point where I can't stand much more of his lazy hosting. Ian is a flipping pancake. But I listen for the occasional Knapp show, and even more rare Art sit-in, and use Streamlink to burn MP3 discs to keep my mind from exploding from talk radio on the commute to and from work every day. So, it's not just Noory, it's the whole damn world of radio. And you know what? Listening to C2C is what helped all of you to wake up to the fact that brainwashing is going on, more so on TV, but the insipid garbage is all over the radio waves as well.

i love this message board very much.  i'm proud of what our members have contributed.  i talk about it all the time with my wife who has been driven nuts by my incessant prattling over the whole thing. 

i started GNS because i have a visceral hatred of message boards.  i have yet to find one where people can say whatever they want to say without worrying about the opinions and egos of loser administrators or moderators who get aroused in even the most moderate position of authority. 

i also love the people who have chosen to contribute to this message board.  GNS tends to attract creative, intelligent people who enjoy the freedom they are afforded here.  they represent precisely the demographic any message board would be thrilled to have as members.  GNS has been fortunate enough to actually GET them.

we've only been around for 10 months, and with MINIMAL promotion.  i'm very proud of what GNS has become in such a short time. 

if you wish to suggest that there is no reason to visit this site, i submit to you the above rebuttal.
