Topic: even tom martino says noory sucks!

i was watching some clips from dnc and came across this clip of alex jones and tom martino.  evidently tom was interviewing alex on his show and the during a commercial break the topic of george noory came up. 

tom: "he (alex jones) should be hosting cost to coast....noory sucks"
Alex: "oh noory's a really nice guy though."
Tom: "i know, but he sucks."
voice behind the camera: "why do you say that tom?"
TOM: "i don't think he's a good host." 

they go on to talk about him for a couple minutes until they have to go back live on the air. funny stuff.

i think tom throwing in the "mechanically" comment was a way to cover his ass since he knew noory would more than likely see the video.  i thought it was weird that alex jones said noory challenged him.  noory doesn't challenge anyone.  or maybe i missed that episode.

Radio is a dirty dirty business. Alex knows that he must kiss Snoory's ass. It's ok..... it shows in the tape and Snoory can rest easy when he sees that. This is the second time I've seen a vid of AJ calling snoory a "sweetheart."

to me, snoory's whole "i'm a nice guy" shtick is one of the most annoying things about him.  in the beginning, i think he manufactured it and used it to deflect the negative criticism he knew he would inevitably receive from art's audience.  after all, ONLY AN ASSHOLE could be critical of such a nice sweet guy!!!

alex jones is wrong in his pursuits, but he's not stupid.  he HAS to know george sucks.  it's the lack of honesty that gets me... particularly from a guy who purports himself to be the worlds savior in the movement to secure "truth."

Yea AJ has a role, but it isn't as host. His voice is unique, but not appropriate AT ALL for c2c. Also, his personality lends himself to not being taken seriously. He is hyperactive. No matter your beliefs or ideas, the key to gaining an audience or following is to sound sensible. Even if what you say is stupid, people tune out. AJ sounds silly. Sorry AJ, but you do. Your blog is your best bet.

If Alex can get someone to hit, or arrest him he is happy, because for him, it proves whatever it is he is yelling about. He really should contact JC Webster, learn a few things from him, and then the two could go on the road with some real entertainment.

I think if ol' Alex started yelling at me, I'd just out yell him, and then walk away. At least he's not a door to door religious solicitor. Or a telemarketer. He'd make a great addition to any tech support phone line though. Or maybe the Geek Squad counter.

yeah tom martino is a pretty reputable guy, so hearing him say noory sucks kinda validates it for me.

Exactly what i was thinking when i first saw this vid.  i think alot of people would take aj more seriously if he didn't act like a spaz all the time.  i take 98.9% of what he says with a grain of salt.
