Did Art ever talk about this guy? I figured he would considering how strange the story was.

The thing I saw said that on August 18th, 1999 Art Bell interviewed him. It seems like an interesting story, but it sounds like the guy just went nuts, also the time he said we would be hit has passed years ago. There's no point talking about it on the show now, because George would just ask whether it was possible he didn't really see an asteroid coming to earth, but maybe an Angel or demon.
