I've been thinking about this post in connection with George Knapp's remarkable statement about dropped affiliates. And I wonder whether maybe the C2C suits finally get that there's something wrong at C2C...
One would think so, but after 8
years of George Noory remaining employed I doubt it. At the big companies in Coporate America, the people that don't just go along with all the nonsense are the ones who are punished, people know better than to speak up. About anything. All these PremRat execs ever hear about George is how great he is from all quarters - from George himself, from his staff, from his boss, from his peers like Alex Jones, Ian Punett, George Knapp, probably even Art Bell up until recently . They see him invited to paranormal conferences, 'writing' books, making TV appearances, showing up every night. They know he goes along with anything and follows orders.
We're just written off as 'haters', people that can't stand the idea of
anyone replacing Art Bell.
Loss of sponsors, dropped affiliates, even lower ratings are considered just part of the economic slowdown. For most, it takes awhile listening for the true horridness of George Noory to really sink in. A few flubed pronounciations here, some stupid questions or dumb comments there, failure to ask intelligent follow ups, creepy personal stories, the gleeful reporting of children dying horrible deaths, all that has to be heard repeatedly for it to sink in that it isn't just the normal mistakes anyone would make. The decision makers at PremRat aren't interested in the paranormal, they have day jobs, they don't ever hear George, certainly not enough to recognize how truly terrible he is.
He will clearly never get another job offer. Short of piping his previous night's dreck into the executive suite every day, we are stuck with him until he keels over.
