A Noory free week. Two Knapp shows(always excellent) , a couple of Ian's (I think he has been pretty good the last few months), and two, count them,two Art shows in a row - THE ANNUAL NEW YEAR'S PREDICTION SHOWS! EVP's last week, now this. We must have been good boys and girls this year!

MUFON sounds too much like "move on" and every time I hear it I cringe. Names, words, sounds, are important, and if you can't come up with a decent name for your organization you're probably not worth checking out. Speaking of words, is George Knapp overdoing his intro just a little bit?
For a moment it seemed Ian's interview with socialist John Perkins was going into a tail spin, but Ian made nice, and Mr. Chavez Lover assured us he really does like America in spite of it being the cause of all the world's problems.
And speaking of names, I like "bloomer-bomber" over "hot pants jihadi".

haha, yeah, it's really funny to listen to people prattle on and on about their contention that the united states is the cause of all evil in the world, only moments later to stipulate that you aren't allowed to suggest they hate this country. most "blame america" types perceive themselves to be educated, judicious, and thoughtful. they're anything but. i find them to be uninteresting, cowardly, and conformist. they seek approval.

If a genie appeared to me and granted me one of the predictions given on Art Bell's annual prediction show to come true, it would definitely be a toss up between peace on earth and George Noory being replaced on c2c.
What would anybody do with "peace" anyway?

I always look forward to Art Bell or George Knapp.I don't really enjoy the other two.However the second night of Bell's prediction show, he allowed his young daughter to talk to the audience.What a treat...NOT.The show should not drift into a show about Art and his family...period.

I was listening to this on the podcast and I noticed the same thing that he called it a castle. What's interesting is that this segment was unscripted and you could tell he was searching for things to say which he can't do without a lot of effort because typically when he makes a statement or observation its really short and to the point. When he tries to expand on stuff it's always just searching for stuff to say that doesn't help his point at all.

Webbles wobble but they don't fall down. Christian Von Lahr returned to c2c for Ian's Prediction show and refrained from summoning the spirit of any recently dead mega super stars, or, for that matter, any crazy internet journalist stalkers, and that Merlin Project thing is sounding more and more like a bunch of crap, but those Psychic Twins were kind of sexy in a weird overlapping sort of way, and Glynis McCants doesn't know who the Prime Minister of Israel is, which I suppose is O.K. since I have no idea what the heck she's talking about anyway.

I must have missed it back in June, or whenever, so your comment prompted me to go take a look. I really got a kick out of it, so thanks. It was like you could see the writer coming unhinged. It was hilarious near the end when he began shouting. I say "he" because I think that was George. Yes, there were times that the writer became critical of George, but not in any way that would be truly damaging, especially when it comes ostensibly from an alter-ego or avatar who is technically anonymous. So, the real George could legitimately deny that he is a godless "fundamentalist hater." The reason I think George is the writer is because that's how I think his intellect actually works. In addition, the writer uses many of the same phrases to rant against us "haters" when he talks about the George Noory "hate sites," though he usually refers to them as C2C hate sites.

Whether it was George or not, reading it was a hoot!

that really irks me. it's as if it's inconceivable that someone might not like noory, so therefore any criticism of him can be deflected as that of the show and/or genre in general rather than any sort of specific, personal observation or complaint about him as host. wanker.

yeah, i've gotta agree there. it really is his train, and he knows there are a TON of art bell fans out there who would get a kick out of it. i haven't heard it yet, but thanks to shirleypal, i do now have a copy of the show.
