I do not know why I am listening to this drek! The Miracle moment portion of this evening's show started and George just claimed the following:

He knows a person who gets into a MAJOR car accident every year. That he in fact just got a call recently that the woman fell over an embankment with 2 kids in the car but luckily no one got hurt.



WHAT THE HELL?!?!

1)How would this woman still have insurance at this point if this happens every year.
2)Why would someone drive if they know this would happen?
3)Normally we don't allow DRUNKS to drive, especially if they are repeat offenders and have kids (How else would you account for the regularity of the accidents)
4)Should George be arrested for not doing anything to prevent people from being put at risk from this yearly irresponsible driver?

Found myself humming "Silent Night" while listening to George speak of his friend's annual Christmas auto crash.  Nearly killed the kids this year too.

I tend to do it if he says something TOTALLY stupid (It has to be major though because quite frankly I can't type as fast as he spews his stupid)

Interesting.  All these thoughts immediately went through my mind as I heard GN explain this.  If the (recent) regularity of accidents is correct, then it sounds like she should consult with a psychiatrist, and let someone else drive the kids around.

I believe that when Edvard Munch created this he was unknowingly channeling the collective, existential human reaction to George Noory's malapropisms.   His nightly journey into malaprop discourse has inexplicably breached the barriers of time and space and has radiated back to the beginning of the Universe.

That wasn't a call in though, that was a story that George gave as an example.

The Miracle of the Crazy Christmas Driver who every year almost kills her kids. My heart opened and I was filled with much giving and love at hearing it.

Why does George do that bullcrap "we are at the north pole/ Norad is tracking Santa crap"

Local top 40 DJs do that but they do it because 1)They tend to have a younger audience 2)At a time when the younger audience might hear it.

Does George really think that 5-13 year olds will be hearing that stuff? No offense but I don't know any pre-teen who would stay up late to listen to him.

Frankly I think he does it because he will grasp at anything to take up time during the show to help get in to the end.

The meaning of STUPID when applied to George:

Stupid: Any word/saying or expression that is made by George Noory which has nothing to do with a topic/statement/fact or reality made by guests,callers or life and the universe as we know it to exist at this time.

Examples of stupid: Listen to Coast to Coast AM with George Noory and anytime George opens his mouth, Stupid shall be expressed.

Long term exposure to Stupid will result in sighing, groaning, frustration and eventual turning of radio channel. (usually within 10 seconds of encountering Stupid)

However, there was something new this time. There was a survey asking why you were cancelling. Oh man I wish I had taken a screen shot to play with it photoshop. I could have listed some of the real reason someone would cancel.
There was a multiple choice area you just clicked the circle on and then a written comment section.
The multiple choice included.
1. Cost
2.Commercials
3. Log in trouble
4.Connection trouble
 
As is usual, none of the real reasons were listed, so in the comment section I wrote, "GEORGE NOORY SUCKS."

I am really hoping the survery is their little baby attempt to figure out why their memberships are dropping. I am sure they think it's the economy and it may well be, because in a tough economy people won't pay for shit. I get annoyed paying six dollars a month when I only find a show worth listening to once a week or so.
I am SO GLAD I missed the xmas show. Whew.

     How many times was George going to remind us that he "gets three weeks vacation, but only takes one"?  Yeah, yeah, we got it, you're dedicated, you're devoted, and you know damn well that if you took off for three weeks you might just come back to find JC sitting in your chair.  Adios already.
