I know people who seem to have what might be considered "psychic" abilities, but this guy comes across as a weaselly faker -- and George has a bromance with him so there is never any attempt to call Bullshit! on him.

cold reading is so easy. Find an older person, mention some names that were popular in the past (mary, catherine) mention medication and arthritis, and then ask if the one whos passed was buried. I know cold reading is a joke, but those were the most broad questions Ive ever heard in a cold reading. I'd assume everyone in that crowd knew a Mary who was on medication. James Von Fraud.

I posted that video on his facebook and it was deleted within a few minutes. This just proves that he knows hes a fraud. Anyone who would hide evidence rather than defend themselves is not worth anyone's time.

Oh my gosh, I'm embarrassed to admit this, but this guy was on the reality show "Ice Loves Coco." Coco and her mom are fans of James Van Pragahahahdh and they go to a book fair that he is hanging out in and get his autograph.

Ice T surprised Coco by getting him to come to the house to talk to the spirits and ghosts which Coco is sure occupy their condo. She told Ice T how amazing this was and how grateful she was. Ice said "so this would be like my being able to meet Michael Jordan, huh?" Coco said "yes! yes!"

The guy was a total fraud and he was looking at her boobs the whole time.

Well then I have to wonder why he is taken so seriously in the media. He's had his own show, been a guest on quite a few other shows, and seems to be under no pressure to get out of the public eye. And just what it between George and him?

I just listened to a show Van Praagh did with Snoory. Some lady calls up about her best friend dying, immediately Van Praagh asks did she die of cancer....lady says no, then he says someone close to you died of cancer....she says no to that too, then he says the person that died of cancer was her age and she couldn't think of anyone her age who had died of cancer. Snoory should've interjected that his cold reading was off. Then later a guy calls in and asks if Van Praagh could give him some info on a dead relative to which Van Praagh states he hasn't prepared himself to do readings he's only answering questions when in fact he did try to do a reading on the lady I just mentioned and got everything wrong. This guy is so full of bs and so full of himself. Another funny story Praagh relayed was after he had spoken to the Edgar Cacey Institute College of Complete Nutty BS that night Cacey appeared to him and gave him a doctor's robe because he is healing souls.

he lists every malady associated with the elderly. then he is openly insulting the lady he's talking to ( divorced? never married? i'm not surprised - what a dick ) what a fast talking douchefraud. i want to slap him. how dare you use the deceased as something to exploit for personal gain.

i believe in Olden Tymes ... they would've dragged this fool out into the road and shot him. or if it had been a particularly slow day ... they would have hung him. cause that would've been more entertaining

Anybody, IMHO, who claims to possess the the tiniest bit of post-life knowledge is a fraud. I don`t care who they are. And this is from a person who just spent 4 days in America`s foremost urban necropolis, Savannah, GA, searching for answers (Ok, kind of searching, and kind of enjoying the riverfront) I so wish it were possible, but it`s just not. Unfortunately, We`ll all have to learn about it the old-fashioned way; die.
