Ah, give him a break...this week marked the 32nd anniversary of the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. It's only 32-33 year old news.

those who don't know history are doomed to repeat it. anyway. no matter how old this is, the implications are clear - Osama has been a US agent.

he may have been an 'asset' as well as an asshole, but his character's backstory is being extensively revised as we speak. by whom? the winners of course.

100 years from now the story will be that he shot JFK, except by that time when we think of JFK we will picture Bush senior.

Even more bizarre is the fact that those who do know history are equally likely to repeat it.

Very well. I'll amend my statement to read: Wow! Thanks for rushing here with this breaking, more than 30-year-old news. Phew! I feel all better now. I thought everybody already knew about Bin Laden being part of the plan to tear down the Evil Empire, oh, for more than 30 years or so. I'm glad alejandro is here to help out that 1% of the population who thinks this is breaking news.

Too bad our "braintrust" didn't realize that Bin Laden viewed the Soviets and Americans as equally Evil Empires.

Alejandro has breaking news about Rock Hudson, the Challenger and an update on the Panama Canal Treaties coming soon.

Here's a review of the show, including 4 questions that George Knapp ought to have asked.

I love this blog. Keep up the good work Expat!

Oh, they did. They just didn't expect him to live so long (those in that line of work, in that part of the world, usually don't) but they underestimated the power of unadulterated, ideological bile - or its attraction to others.

I think many in the CIA/State Department had a condescending view of Islamic Fundamentalism, and never imagined blowback occurring on American soil. Sure maybe a TWA hijacking over the Mediterranean or the or occasional murder of a diplomat "over there", but our "pals" in Saudi Arabia,Egypt or Pakistan cracked the whip when needed...small potatoes compared to Moscow and the Reds. Everybody knew those Ay-Rabs couldn't possibly stick together...Whoops.

Very true. The Americans were caught rather flat-footed, with an intelligence-service administration made up of Russian specialists. That's why I'm here, heppin' the hep-cats, with my mad Arabic language skillz. It seems that the Bush administration dismissed all of their military-intelligence (oxymoron- yeah, yeah) Arabic language specialists because they were tainted with the ghey (a deadly orientation, eastways, except in one enlightened nation, but the Christians, or pretend-Christians, here seem to have issues, too). Of course, the people on the ground knew what was shakin', but they couldn't get the higher-ups to listen to them. An old, old history they were doomed to repeat (hat-tip, alejandro).

Aw, get outta here with that silliness!

I posted on this on the political forum of a site where I was a moderator for 2 years.

Instead of commenting on the civil liberty issues and the erosion of our rights, the liberals chose to attack me personally and refused to discuss the issue.

Sheep headed for slaughter and too damned stupid to realize it.

please take my apology for insulting your intelligence. we should stop this, it isn't very interesting for readers to witness a sandbox fight. And since nobody is talking about the NDAA anyway - the topic should be locked.

Actually liberals and the ACLU have been protesting this and the ACLU.

The ACLU has a link to write Congress about this on their website.

alejandro... i combined all of your threads into one super-mega-awesome thread.  that'll keep the forum from getting slopped up with too many new threads, and your topics will get more attention.

we never lock threads here.  i don't see what the purpose of it is.  actually, i think locking threads usually is done just to make some moderator feel important and/or powerful.

i can't count the number of times i've been reading a thread on a forum somewhere and some cunt moderator comes in and locks the thread just as the conversation is moving in the direction i wanted (because i needed some information/help/etc.).  i really hate message boards/forums.  i think coastgab is the only major one i've seen that isn't insufferable due to excessive moderation.

Chris Matthews Tries To Attack Ron Paul & Alex Jones On Iranian/Saudi Assassination Story

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
here's a funny collage about the recent Chris "Slimeball" Matthews hitpiece.
LOL at Chris "Slimeball" Matthews for being such a lying cretin.

I wonder what kind of people actually believe *anything* Chris Matthews says, it's so obvious that this guy is a low life mouthpiece for some interest in Washington. Basically the megaphone of Joseph Göbbels , Minister of Propaganda , or something :)

In this scenario who is Goebbels? Just wondering

well, I am not into US Television, but I think Slimeball is a liberal or democrat right, so in this case Göbbels would mean persons and institutions that give him his marching orders, liberal/democratic affiliated policy makers and think-tanks including their political/philosophical heritage like Zbigniew Brzeziński, Margaret Sanger, the Fabian Society, CFR policy documents.

Propaganda outlets like Matthews usually understand pretty well what they are meant to promote without constantly always having to monitor and instruct him.

just watch Alex's film "Endgame" if you haven't yet. it's pretty interesting , escpecially all the stuff he goes into after the Bilderberg part. Pretty good overview of eugenics, population control, etc.

I see it as a very bad trait in you, to ask me something that I answer honestly to my best ability, and in turn you don't respond, but put out a silly ad-hominem BS remark. Mayhap you don't understand my response, or chose to ignore and ridicule it. Have it your way.
People who're unable or unwilling to discuss the subject should spare the interested readers with spam. I mean, if it's not even a witty remark, it's better to remember "silence is golden".

Really? I will have 7, count em', 7 children by July of this year. The dreaded population control doesn't seem to be working. Indeed, the birth control methods we undertook were highly ineffective. How does Alex Jones explain this? Indeed, how does he explain his own children in this horrible day and time? Why would he want to bring children into this supposed totalitarian existence?

well if the "subject" is crazy bullshit that spills out of alex jones's fat, pork loin face then prepare for the worst.  jones is a personality disorder with a really shitty demeanor.  and you're his minion.  apparently.

Being as there has been a fair amount of Paul in this thread I thought that I would add what the CBC has taken to broadcasting as "news" tonight.  Every hour for the news, the radio announcer says that Paul "would end aid to Israel, allow Iran to develop nuclear weapons, cut all aid to the poor and social security to the old."  They play a bit with a woman saying that Paul wants to allow everybody to go to the corner store to buy their Heroin.  He then goes on to say that Paul represents the voters who don't know anything about Washington.

I usually don't mind the CBC despite it's rather left leaning bias- but this is insane.  Their news consists of an extreme oversimplification and telling Canadians that he represents the political inept and stupid.

Some of his ideas have flaws; but I kind of like the guy.  Last election, a pollster called to ask who I would vote for (it was a "who would Canadians vote for poll").  I told the Ron Paul.  They didn't know who he was and demanded an answer of McCain or Obama.  For around 3 minutes I told them neither- I would vote Paul.  They kept trying and finally gave up.  I know some of his ideas are not perfect- but he is the only one who talks about SOPA, want $$ out of elections, dislikes the Patriot act and a few other key policies.
