B. Coastgab has the wisest moderator on the net for knowing that--left to their own devices--his posters will work things out and don't need to be policed and over-moderated.

Amen to that...if anything, over-moderated boards tend to only increase hostilities from what I've seen.

Well, this thread proves two things:

A. Coastgab has the classiest posters on the net, despite whatever little eruptions may occur.

B. Coastgab has the wisest moderator on the net for knowing that--left to their own devices--his posters will work things out and don't need to be policed and over-moderated.

Now, what this thread can't prove at the moment is whether Art is coming back to the airwaves.  Opinions, anyone?   ;D

Well, think of it this way, If you had a 22y/o wife from a sexually repressed culture what would you be doing?  I for one wouldn't have anything air wave related on my mind.

Yeah, but it is bringing some of the longtime members, current lurkers back into the fold.  How you been, angels? Missed seeing you around here.

Pretty much, I pop in weekly and check out the Art Quits thread, hoping to read auspicious augury by the sages as they read the entrails of Art's cryptic, misspelled, ungrammatical posts. Then, I quietly pray for the return of Fort Rock's sexy visage.

I had a 20 year old girlfriend from a sexually repressed culture(Ireland) when I was younger...you know you hear about repressed girls getting to a new land and culture and really letting loose?

Yeah, I HEARD about it too...From my experience, I'm chalking it up in the urban myth category. :(

And Art is a 66 year old man with a bad back. Add in that they have been married for a few years and have a 4 year old, and I don't think Art is really doing a Ron Jeremy impersonation

Yeah but, she is a Filipina I bet when Art put the Uh Oh stick in the No No cave she rang his Bells (pun intended).  As to the bad back, reverse cowgirl is always an option.

Yet more proof that CG has the classiest posters on the web.

Mustaches like that went out with the 70's and disco!  Also the black shoe polish or whatever that Noory uses on his stach makes it even more hideous.  However, I think Noory believes he looks cool, and dumb women are a dime a dozen.  Yes, I'm assuming he actually gets any and that females are his preference.

His stach looks like it was drawn on his face using a brown magic marker.

Anyway to return from tangent land.  Don't we have a time traveler posting on this forum??? Why don't we ask him if Art will come back?

I still can't figure out if u are talking about about the dude with the moose vagina or King Blackbeard of the buttholes or post-apocalyptic Mel Gibson or the Queen of sludge or Linda Moulton Howe.

I love the fact that I've been able to unite, a 725lb William Shatner stalking,neo-Marxist member of the Mattachine Society(Morphiaheavyflow and a Tea Party spinster(Frys Coont) in their whacked out "How Dare You Not Accept Art as your Lord and Savior" madness.

I really wish I knew your names, because then I'd subscribe to newspapers in your areas and check the obits every morning looking for good news.

Hahahaha! Wow! They just got told.

The secret for preventing this is to have 20 tabs open on two browsers and a fair amount of video loaded on an older computer.  I saw the title and had a full five seconds to close out the window before it started...

Wow... haven't been around for awhile but there's a lot of emotions going on in this thread.

I personally think Art is done, at least with mainstream radio.

I wish I knew how to use Photoshop.

One could re-do the Coming Global Superstorm cover with a picture of Snory with headphones on and call it the Coming Global Shitstorm with George Snory on C2C.

Speaking of storms, how about the huge one that's going to hit Alaska tonight and how long under George has someone blaming it on HAARP ?

Am I the only one who thinks that Bell and Streiber were RIGHT on their assertion that we were ( and are ) getting more severe storms and really weird storms in areas that never or seldom had them before like :

tornadoes in Brooklyn

waterspouts off of San Francisco

tornadoes all over Northern California when we almost never got them here, even ones as far north as Chico

mega killer tornadoes going off the wind intensity scale

droughts in one area and massive flooding in others

and today tornadoes in November when tornado season is usually over

and multiple earthquakes under Berkley Ca within days of each other felt all over the SF area
