Maybe he is auditioning for some sort of self help talk show and hopes the producers of that show are listening so has told the screeners to seek out those calls...seriously.

Let's take up a collection to pay a producer to start a show for him. He obviously prefers shows about alternative health subjects. Maybe he could host a late-night TV program that caters to hypochondriacal insomniacs. He could sell potions and lotions during the breaks.

"The Paul-ites" are also coming along on the outside, I suppose they are close to the "Fanatics". They bring up Ron Paul CONSTANTLY. One called Ian a few weeks ago during his superhero show with Depak Chopra's son and started shitting up a good show by calling old Ron a superhero.

I should have mentioned something. It's true that Ron Paul isn't a superhero. However, you can keep your Bush neocons and Obama progressives. I'll stay with my Paul libertarians (but not the fanatics).

I guess you could call him a regular:  "Bill" from West Hartford, Conn.  He used to start with "I'm an amateur astronomer", last time it was "amateur scientist."  Then he always states that he's an atheist.  GIVE THIS GUY SOME VALIUM !  I know he admits to being bi-polar, or ADD, 
or OCD, or something, but his meds aren't working.  We all know he doesn't believe in God, that's his right, but why does he continually get past the call screeners in order to tell us?  He's a broken record, which I'm told is the most apt description of someone with OCD.  Too bad for his impairment, but keep him off the air until he has something new to say.

Old Atheist Bill just called in yet again to Noory on Friday night.
I swear he seems to call in at least every week, always complaining about the use of words like "soul" that go against his atheist philosophy.
He is only an atheist because he could never get a date with a girl, so he blames God for that.

God, he'd be ultimate political Rorschach test. A malleable intellectual lightweight like George would make flip-floppers like John Kerry and Mitt Romney seem positively strident. He's getting to the point where neo-Nazis could call in spewing their bullshit and he'd be agreeing with them because he's so lazy and desperate not to lose listeners.

It seems like it already has. Noory's soapbox speeches are more blatant and more frequent now. It's like he has to share his views on every issue. The new Friday Skype segments, with Tommy, highlight this turn for the worse.

That's a good observation, which some of us have brought up in the past. One night, he'll shout "amen" to mainstream conservative authors and right-wing conspiracy theorists. Another night, he'll yell "atta-boy" to Bush-hating liberal professors. For the most part, he goes along to get along.

IOW, you're not a masochist or an optimist. I don't listen as much as I did in the past. I can't tell you the last time that I listened to a full week of shows. It must have been some time back in 2009 (seems weird to type that).

That strange frequent woman caller with the strange voice, Mary in Ohio, who calls herself a "psychic vampire" called into Ian during the first hour with open lines last night. She has called in to Noory many times before too.
Joe from Boston (the blind dude) also called in during the last hour with the guest.
Both are requlars of the C2C wack-pack.

I haven't noticed you guys mention this guy who drives me up the wall. The problem he calls with a different name each time( and location i believe), but he attempts to mask his voice each time he calls it is as clear as day it is the same guy. I can't think of anyone who calls more frequently, he gets in I would say maybe 3 times a week. He called last night, he called on Sunday and had some terrible British accent. He even calls with complete different perspectives from his prior calls, but EVERY single one seems pointless and confusing. Please can anyone verify this guy, its clear they are accepting his calls on purpose but I can not see why he is a terrible actor and has terrible questions.

He has called many times since I posted this and he continues to call under different names. With the Richard C. Hoagland night about Vesta he called in under the name 'Jack'. I am really bothered by this guy. I also realize he consistently calls on the weekends. I am going to try and Log this guy. His voice mannerisms are so distinguishing that I can identify him regardless of his fake accents. I would love if anyone could tell me if they have/or start noticing this guy. I actually get angry when he calls because he seems to think he is so clever tricking everyone or I am just not sure, he asks pointless questions and just seems to want to see if he can get air time (or he is hired but I have heard Ian actually bring the smack down on him).

Does he sound like he's in his late teens or early twenties? It seemed like the same young guy called each night for a while. Like you said, he had a different tale every night. It was like he just wanted to get on the air. The stories ranged from "action movies" to mundane events. The caller sounded like Brian Eno's son, but I'm not saying that's who he was. He simply sounded like a college student who enjoyed talking about paranormal events. If all of those calls came from the same guy, he broke Hoagland's record for most air time by a non-host.

No cant be a young guy. Older/raspy voice and his true voice seems to have a type of New England primarily Jersey ring to it. But then again he changes his voice too often. Meant to reply to this as soon as you posted and speaking of Brian Eno's son yuck that kid is nuts and encouraged to be by his dad, I actually liked when George kind of called him out when he said he didn't mind if the world came to an end and the masses were suffering.

He calls in regularly. He changes his name and is from somewhere different each time. He does a poor job of trying to disguise his voice.

Sometimes he's "Rick in Inglewood, California". Sometimes he's Ron, Ronald, or Rick - but there's no mistaking his unique voice. They let him on the air a couple of times a month! I think I even heard him calling himself "Farrah" the other night and had a thick Middle Eastern sounding accent.

He always has a stupid rhetorical 'why' question. He goes on and on pretending to be the "common thinking man" with his frustrations. Such a waste of air time (I'd rather hear someone else who has something interesting to share.)

He once called Ian and started out his call with a lame joke saying he wanted to open a store called "Cheeses of Nazareth"... Ian sighed, and you could tell he was like, "Dude...really?" (it was a deep conversation that 'Rick' just busted up with his sophomoric humor). Ian earned some 'cool points' with me that day.

Heard this imposter again several more times. Here's the most recent...Fri. Sept 9, 2011 Hour 2 at 9 minutes 14 seconds into the show. This time his name is "Jack in Hollywood California"

That's Ian all right.  He was just annoyed he didn't think that one up to spring on us.
 
His puns are terrilbe, but he'll come on, insert one he's been working on all week into some monologue, then laugh and laugh 'uh-huh-huh-huh, ah-ha-ha-ha'.  When some caller or even a guest comes up with one as bad as one of his, I can just see him - head tilted forward, eyes looking out over his glasses, stern frown on his face, a sigh as if he's trying to be patient and finding it difficult...
 
I'm guessing he went around and told that Cheeses of Nazarath one to everybody in his office twice the next day, pretending like it was his own.

Come on guys, you know you love her.  I would venture to guess that anyone who is even an occasional listener to Coast has heard Jan from Brooklyn.  I'd often be distracted and miss George mention this lady's name and location prior to her beginning her incessant babbling rant with that "wacky" voice.  Those of you that have heard her know EXACTLY what I'm talking about.  Think Aunt Bethany from National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation and you have "that" voice.  Over time and with each increasingly frequent appearance, I began fabricating theories on the 'how and why' this lady cunningly makes her way through Coast's call screeners.  At first I thought it was just an act--a character actor like you'd hear on Stern--I mean, can an individual with such a freakin' annoying voice and mindless chattering really exist outside the entertainment biz?!?  Then I began to think Coast's producers were intentionally green-lighting this nut's calls for the sheer annoyance and freak factor it adds to the show.  You usually catch her when Georgie's hosting but damn near swear I've heard her call in while Ian was hosting on a Saturday show.  I still can't figure out if she's real or a "plant" cause in either case, Jan's got a direct studio line.  Like a drug of abuse, I know I'll never recoup those lost hours of life I've squandered on Snoory's Friday night open lines.   It's a guilty pleasure, a secret you'd not readily admit to anyone--yet I find myself waiting and hoping Jan will once again phone to rant and banter with those obnoxious pipes.  Lunacy in it's rare, true form.
