That brings forth an unpleasant memory from my youth. She reminds me of an English teacher who castigated me (in front of the whole class, no less, er, no fewer, er, no less) for using "less" instead of "fewer". She acted like I just strangled her cat.

Teacher Voice: "Mr. Capone, you and your slacker peers comprise an illiterate generation that should be executed for their crimes against the English language."

I'm REALLY disappointed in your guy's(s) ability to check out pics... the simplest method to try is simply right-click on a pic and view properties - sometimes will give you a lead - in this case the name of the pic is shirleypal.jpg, from April 20, 2005 at 22:50:52 using Photoshop 7.0. If the pic is genuine, she is a moderator at FF. The person in the pic appears to be the age of the real Shirleypal.

Ah so ... then my suspicions were correct!  I'm familiar with the Shirleypal drama, and thought that pic looked like her profile pic on Facebook.  Buttttt ... I didn't know about the harsh bannings of our esteemed members here, and since the lady is also a Coastgab member (under another name), I didn't think her execution would be made so public!

seems like she has quit coastgab and hasn't posted in months since she changed into a noory lover to get noory's favor for friday night onair shoutouts of the FF2 site.
she probably can't risk posting at anti-noory sites or risk noory's wrath.

at her FF2 site she acts totally as noory-lover to get noory's shoutouts. she even warns other members they will be summarily banned if they are anti-noory. she even banned several recently who didn't post any anti-noory stuff at FF2 but only over here. she must monitor this and other anti-noory sites often. no warnings either, one day you just to go to FF2 site and it reads "you have been permanently banned" with no reason given.
privately she probably acts differently, but can't afford to be other than pro-noory in public posts even at other sites since her many enemies would surely report her to noory otherwise.

This is the link for Fantastic Forum 2, which I understand is a breakoff from the original one.  The people who run this are CoastGabbers and I think left because of the problems listed above with the other one.   There's no problem with this one- I'm registered there and check in from time to time but there aren't enough posters really to get much action, esp in the middle of the night.

I think Shirleypal is providing a safe haven for the hosts to actually participate and it's a feather in her cap to have Art, George and Ian all there.  I say hats off to her, but I prefer to dish where the common folk are chatting.

FF was bought by another individual after the owner died a few months back. But the core active members had already left to start FF2 by then.
Both are fairly dead forums now, with only an handful of posters. FF2 is mostly posting about their love for ultra liberal politics. But since FF2 doesn't allow guests to read any of their posts, its hard to see if you would want to join them. And even if you do register, the odds are you will just get banned quickly anyway like many of us were.
