Isn't this the guy Ian threw off the air, because they both wanted to talk, and neither would budge?

I hope George's family wasn't flying into St. Louis for her birthday.  If so, they are sol.

I dunno but I am thinking open lines would be less irritating.

Yeah, definitely better than the Black Eyed Peas or whatever the hell Noory regularly plays.

Agreed.  But don't tell Knapp, because he's very "tetchy" about people who don't like his guests.  :(

But who's birthday is it?  "her"?  I'm confused.

George is out because it's his daughter's birthday.  She's the 'her'  ...So they might have family flying in and there's a tornado that has done so much damage to the St. Louis airport they have closed it "indefinitely".

If this guy is cold fusion's "biggest cheerleader," they have trouble.

Knapp was right, he's totally backwards and, as onan mentioned, is saying a whole lot of nothing.  He wants to talk about how to implement, but isn't convincing anyone that it works.

Edit:

Haha!  And he really knows how to entice investors: "We need to find someone to give us 20 million dollars but not expect anything back from it."

Cold Fusion bumper music = Foxy Lady?  Really?

Now that is a disappointment.  I would have picked Ghost Riders for all the courageous people working on alternative power against all odds.

Well, I'm heading out.  But, in closing, I want to say that I do really like Knapp:

"We've been talking for 45 minutes with him and still haven't gotten answer about how it works.  I'm going to take another stab at it."

No, that was the solar minimum guy.  But the same thing--explaining something complicated and scientific.

Cold fusion guy can't explain how it works.  Palladium and water on your kitchen table, and that's all he knows.  Quickly he explained that the producers had only called him today so he didn't have much time to prepare...  George was taken aback and gave a little chuckle.

Then they started talking about 60 minutes taking down their cold fusion show because ????

This must be the same process that was going on at BYU and the U of U and was roundly discredited (perhaps unjustly?)

Hey all

Man this guest SUCKS. The guy has no idea what he's talking about and can't even explain the basic principles. The callers are more well informed (particularly the first guy who called in) which is a sad state of affairs when it comes to the modern coast audience. What a nightmare.

Here's a quick summary:
Knapp: How's it work?
Guest: Step 1: Put Palladium and water in a breadbasket sized device on your tabletop.
Step 2: ???
Step 3: Profit

LOL, for whatever reason, the above quote reminded me of a scene from one of my favorite movies, about schmidt:

Schmidt:  Say, Randall ?
How that investment situation work out for you ?
You never call me.

Mother:  Don't bring that up.

Brother:  You mean that pyramid scheme ?

Randall:  No, it wasn't.

Brother:  All I know is I lost 800 bucks.

Randall:  Well, if you'd stuck with a little longer, -
- you would've seen the results.
You abandon too soon.

Mother:  Can we change the subject please ?

Randall:  See you just didn't find enough quality resps of your own, -
- and you screwed the all thing up for me too.
You didn't take time to understand, -
- how the power system works :
"principle, ownership, wealth"
