lol, i heard bruce's pork roll spot just today.  been listening to the archived shows off of his website.  he retired from radio last year, unfortunately.

i love the way his show comes across as if he's sitting on a recliner in his living room wearing only boxers and scratching his foot with a pencil eraser.

if he's only wearing boxers i have to wonder if this is code for something else

from a hostpital bed for a while. listening to his voice i thought of him as being a very large (kind term) man. from pics i`ve seen of him, he is not.

The General:
In the late 80's/early 90's I was a teenager working on my father's farm driving tractors, and the only thing I could pull in on the radio was a talk station on the AM band.  (AM only in the old tractor.)  I went from hating it to looking forward to it every day.  Bruce Williams was the highlight of the day.

We'd often work on into the night, where Art Bell ruled the air and came in loud and clear on my little Case International radio.  It was awesome listening to some of that stuff while out in the middle of nowhere driving a tractor in the moonlight.
