that doesn't make sense - might be Fort Rock playing games again?
Art Bell's email address is well known, its artbell@mindspring.com
so maybe try sending a message to that email to check?

The first thing I thought was crazy Ft Rock too.
But as far as the strange KNYE email, he actually lists that on his Facebook. Which indeed is odd.. we will see if he gets back to Michael.. if so.. we got a winner. He'd be accepted with open arms here.

I'm still hesitant believing it's him.
Maybe George and Tommy boy got drunk and wanted to play a joke. Haters.

if i sent the verification email to the mindspring address, i'd probably never get a reply since he surely receives a vomit-worthy amount of email there.

as mentioned earlier, i sent an email to art at the knye email address to verify his account.  i have received a reply, so i'm now satisfied it's really art bell.

I posted my lame Noory joke before I saw this.
We seem to have a match.. This is quite exciting.

Goodbye Fantastic Forum 2.. welcome to CoastGab, where the real talk of night occurs. Congrats Mr. Vandeven, you sir have scored on this one. And in the process, we all win.

If I may: I suggest this as the avatar? .. more respectable

Hi there,
I thought it would be ok to stop in here and say hi from the High Desert! I have had so many people
send me links in email that refer to a post on this site. All is well with the Bell Family and we are
doing just fine in Pahrump.

As far as Retirement is concerned it has been great having time with my Family and my Hobby. I have
learned to "never say never" but I am enjoying life.

If any of you are Hams please feel free to join us on Echolink at W6OBB-L

I would be happy to try and answer any reasonable questions any of you may have.

                                                                                       Art

oh, and now that the verification stuff is out of the way, i wanted to say thanks art for posting here.  it's as if the second technician at a nuke launch site has finally "turned his key," haha.  i've always wondered if you were aware of this forum, although i always suspected you were.  you should consider recording a :10 liner of some sort for linden2k's art bell stream.  lol, that would be a riot.

anyway, i'm sure i speak for everyone when i say i hope you'll post often.

cheers.

Whats the latest in your home regarding the fire extinguisher explosion?
Was any of your electronics equipment salvageable after the incident?

wow...and I thought all was lost. Would love to QSO sometime on 75m, but my antenna isn't the best, and only running 100w on a flex 1000. Have to give the echolink a try. Art...much respect. Glad to hear from you.

Howdy Art!

Chalk me up as a second vote for the Ouija board story. I've always wondered about that one.

Hope to see you around these parts often!

Hello, Art!

It is great that you have joined the forum and should prompt "Art Bell Joins Coastgab."  I am very happy that you are enjoying the your family and hobby, but we out here do miss your updates, hosting, and stories of the Bell family inclusive of the fur family.

Maybe you can conceive that this is a forum that gets it.

Hope you post frequently.

The mess is indeed cleaned up finally. It is strange that something designed to
save you in a emergency can cause one.

As for Coast, the show has changed which from my point of view is a shame but
it is the right of the Host doing the show to take it in the direction they see fit. I
have had many offers to join other Networks to compete if I wished BUT I have
decided that I do not wish to destroy what I built, or what is left of it.

I really am enjoying being Retired, I can be part of my Daughter's life as she grows
and it is a blast. I do miss all of you though. I am not saying I will not pick up a mike
one day, just not this day. I learned long ago, never say never.

Just curious Art... there has been MUCH speculation, as you must surely know, about your webcam post at knye.com just over a year ago shown below. Many speculated as to possible "cryptic" meanings derived from your wording. We'd all love to know the "real deal" of the meaning of these words:

Very nice to read another post.  Just to comment on picking up a mike, just not on this day.

... . but remember, tomorrow is another day. . .surely Mr. Bell will not be gone with the wind. . forever. . .

It is special to see your daughter growing and those years cannot be replaced, it is a very remarkable time.

Wow!!!!! Great to hear from Mr. Bell.  Thank you so much for all the delightful years of inquiry that you brought to all of us.  I still listen to your old shows from 10 years ago rather than listen to the inane banter that airs now on C2C.  In fact, I would literally be willing to give my right arm to have you back on each night.  Losing your show was like losing a dear family member.  You certainly set the standard and there are so many paranormal shows now that are streamed over the net.  Have you listened to or found any that you reccommend?
Thanks for stopping by to say hello and come back often.  You enjoy your retirement my friend but know that you always have an eager audience ready to roll if you ever want to do a show again.
BTW.... My avatar is you as you posed on New Year's eve 2000.  You dressed as the Millennium Master.  It was all great fun.

Thank you for stopping in here, Art.  Unexpected, but obviously cool.

Is it bad that I still don't actually believe it, though?  But, alas, I never believe anything.  That's either ironic or beneficial for a (former) Coast fan.

You know... a little podcast never hurt anyone...

Priceless benefits of retirement.  Asia stories and photos encouraged.

The day may come when your daughter discovers that friends and activities outside her little family world beckon and dear ol' dad has more time on his hands.  If that day comes, you'll surely know from reading here that an eager and grateful audience awaits your return to the mike should you ever choose that path.

In the meantime, any sporadic posts you choose to make will definitely be welcomed!
