May 16th Fri. Night/Sat. Morn C2C website picture....
« on: May 17, 2008, 01:01:02 AM »
The picture sent in by "Dawn".  Check it out and anyone tell me if you can make sense of it.  There is a description along with the picture, and I can't make out what I am "supposed" to be seeing.  I don't see anything in the picture that is described, other then the fact that the picture is taken from the corner of a room with an adjoining hall partially in the picture - Am I missing something here, or am I just not "believing" enough?

You mean the C2C paranormal pic of the night?  HERE:  http://www.coasttocoastam.com/gen/page2564.html?theme=light

Sometimes they are funny, sometimes they are lame, once in a while they are interesting.  ONE time it was just so insulting to anyone with an IQ of ALMOST normal I wrote and said so (this wasn't just a hoax pic, I don't recall the details only that it was downright STUPID) and i wrote and said so.  It was gone the next day - and not into the archives.  I mean GONE.  Must have been a number of people who had a similar reaction.

Thanks EvB for posting the link.  I hate to be a downer on what may be an uplifting story, but I don't see a damn thing this person is describing. Red Shadows, orbs, demons, etc.

Not a downer at all - and YOU, Phan, are too damned self-deprecating!

The whole point of my post is that this picture shows nothing at all that could be considered "paranormal."  Believe it or not- that slightly fuzzy figure to the left-had side of the screen is supposed to be the "red man" - at least I think so.  How idiotic is that?  Looks like some kid in a mini high-grand-pooh-bah of the KKK costume.

Now THAT is scary!

Sheesshh, I just went to the site for the first time in months. Gecko in a chicken egg? That affects me how? Truly pitiful.
The most fun I ever had listening to George Noory was when I jotted down those stupid quotes for Michael. If I could get paid to do that, I'd resub to C2C, haha.

and i must say those quotes were TRULY MOMENTOUS.  a fine job you did, indeed.  i was wondering how long you were going to be able to keep up that pace, though.  listening to george every night for the purpose of extracting quotes for me is really a lot of ask of someone.

I have a thought about this.  It may not be a GREAT thought, but it's a thought.  I know that Phan and VP have done yeoman's service keeping  us up-to-date and entertained with ol' Georgie-boys malapropisms and such.  Maybe, if it's not too much of a PIA - we could set up a PayPal donation button specially to raise the funds to get people who are proven quality contributors of this kind STREAMLINK so they can at least listen at their leisure.

Whatcha think?

Ohh great, now it's an obligation!  I'm gonna have to take writing lessons from Camazotz to be worthy of such an honour.

i must say, although the thought of giving snoors any money repulses me, it's a good idea in terms of the "listen at their leisure" part.  we will work on getting something set up.

Well, I was surprised at how good those quotes were... but really all I did was write them down. You see I think I had already cancelled at that point and was to the point of just finding others that couldn't take the snore. Just to make sure I wasn't insane because the stats keep growing and everybody loves him... or at least he would say every night.

But hey, I really dislike him enough to resub and write the quotes down if you guys want. I think this whole thing leads back to how great Art was and how bitter we feel as a result of that loss. We are a bunch of traumitised siblings at this point:)

Art will always be my first, even though there are lots of cool podcasts out now and all manner of esoteric entertainment. I can't imagine ever finding anyone as good as Art.

Nah, Michael... I actually resubbed today because I am keen to hear tonights show with Art.
Don't ask me why but I am listening to last nights snore, I am about five minutes in and he's already talking about a thunderbird snatching a little kid.

The best quote so far is "Was he telling the truth or being devious, there's a big difference.
REALLY?

Hey, thanks for the offer, I didn't see your post before today...

That was possibly the best quote of the night, and could be GWN's Gem of the night.  I started to howl when  I heard him say that.

At hour one some woman calls in about thirty five minutes in and tells some long blah blah story... Can't even remember what it was now, that's how utterly fascinating it was. Georges response?

"That's the perfect, classic case of something happening to you."

Or what about when the guest was talking about what amazing work Nick Nostarino had done in researching the crystal skulls, and George chimes in, "Yes he had the sha na na."
Or was that shamalamadingdong George?

Now he says he's coming to St. Louis for the weekend, and he bets there will be another earthquake here. Great, thanks George. He also mentioned that mirrors weren't like Ouija boards... so I am glad we didn't escape a full show without a Ouija board reference.

Okay, I have got some material... should I start a new thread for all this randomness?
You won't believe the question he asked about Stephen Hawking while trying to get his guest to put in a good word for him in terms of getting Stephen on the show.

holy fucking shit i was driving down the interstate at 70 miles per hour and I HEARD HIM SAY THAT about the big difference between telling the truth and being devious.  what a brain surgeon.  when i heard that i was immediately thinking, "i'm going to see this mentioned on my website!"   and... sure enough... you guys didn't fail to deliver.

regarding another thread...  victoria, it might be a good idea if you want to start your own thread to 1) keep things organized and 2) set yourself apart.  cheers.
