Either the Area 51 pilot or the Area 51 caller. Both were brilliant but I don't know if the pilot was fake or not.
i suspect the pilot was fake, but that's based on absolutely nothing but suspicion.  it sure was convincing.

I read somewhere years ago (sorry forgot the source), that the whole Area 51 Pilot crashing was an April fools joke...

Looking thorugh my old HD archives, i found some old gems. I remember personally recording these clips from cassette to pc line in lol, it was that long ago. I'm really kicking myslef I didn't keep that whole damn tape.

Anyways if anyone has the complete show to either one of these, i will be indebted to you for atleast a year lol

I WANT to say these are from 1997, due to them being MIB calls, but the files themselves say December of 99, I'm hoping these 2 clips will jog someones memory.

attached are the only two shows from dec 1999 that i have in my main library at the moment.  i have tons of other shows that need to be added to the library, and i'm sure there's some dec '99 in there... but finding it at the moment would be a pain.  hopefully one of these will hit the bullseye.

Nope wasn't them... the day the talk radio Gods open the pre 2002 C2C archives, I might just cry in joy, then pass out, like those teenage girls used to do in the 80's at Michael Jackson concerts

Oh yeah, I LOVED this guy. He used to call like 7 Los Angeles radio shows, and 2 national ones if I remember, Arts and another one. His whole deal was being completley crazy, yet composed on almost every call... A perfect example of Dan In L.A.

I hardly ever hear him anymore, which is a shame. He always spiced shit up.

Classic. Only Mr. Bell could turn a weirdo like this into one heck of an entertaining call.

always found this one(attachment) pretty funny, perfect example of something only Art would air.  JC called the next night complaining.

Some other memorable calls for me:
-around 2002 or 2003, a guy called Art and told a story about how aliens stole his shoes.  I remember hearing it live, yet to track it down unfortunately

-just about every time JC called Art, especially when Art would let JC talk to callers

-Oscar's calls, would've been better with Art though

-Some crazy lady who sang a Marilyn Monroe-esque rendition of “Happy Birthday” to George.  Absolutely scared me shitless, something about it was really creepy.

-I think it was a Ghost to Ghost show from the 90's, a guy called and told a story and after asked art if he had a picture of someone(blanking on who, think it was an old time actor though) in his house.  Art declined to answer, but he sounded a little freaked out afterwards.  Always wanted to know more about this.

-Kind of a funny story, the parents of my childhood best friend were listeners to Coast to Coast AM since the 90's.  During the fall, they would plan football games with friends and the neighborhood families.  I guess one of their friends had a particularly hard time catching a football, and my friends dad would joke with him about something to the extent of aliens implanting deflecting beams into his hands and that was why he couldn't catch a football.  Well, about a month or so after this their friend called into Art and in a completely serious tone told Art he was abducted by aliens and had implants placed in his hands(leaving out anything about football).  Neither my friends family or their friend ever mentioned it after that.  I'd be really interested to see if this rings a bell with anyone, it's something I'd really like to hear.

One of the best open line call I've heard was a from a few years back during a ghost-themed show. A woman called in and described a situation in which she and her daughter were vacationing somewhere along the Eastern seaboard and they decided to take a walk on the beach. They were walking in the water when they noticed something rolling in and out with the waves. She assumed it was a log or some other beach debris, but as they got closer she realized it was the dead body of a young man. She immediately called the police and took her daughter back to their rented beach house.

I don't remember all the details, but at some point she said she was on the porch of the beach house and the deceased man appeared to her. She said he was incredibly frightened and didn't know what to do. She said he was panicked, and mentioned a prank gone wrong with a friend, but he could not accept the fact that he was dead.

That show gave me chills, and I could not sleep with the radio on after that. Now I fall asleep listening to Coast to Coast.

That call sounds awesome! Do you happen to have a year for the broadcast, or rough estimate?

It had to have been either 2005 or 2006. And it may have been a Ghost to Ghost show. I am really interested in re-hearing this call again now, too. It's always stuck with me.

I personally love the time traveller and government agent open lines back when C2C was just so ridiculously awesome. There were a few calls during those that stick in my memory. One in particular was a guy who claimed to be calling Art's show from the future through the internet. That single call captivated my imagination and I admit I looked into the possibilities of this for awhile one night. How cool would that be to call into Art's show from 2010?  ;D

Although the one thing that disappoints me is that no psychics or time travelers ever said the key three numbers to prove it.

I also liked when militia people would call into Art when that was a hot issue.

Lung collapsing hacking, 1 second pause then "good green bud"

That call made my morning

Yeah I was just listening to that call too, have to find it and post it. \

nobody mentioning 9/11 - That was one thing that was always disappointing on those TTravel OL calls when listening to them in retrospect. About 70% usually had some variation of the "Clinton declares Marshall Law, and is the last U.S. President" and not one of them even vaguely mentioned 9/11 - that I've heard.

My all time favorite was more like a presence than a guest because he managed to be "on" even when he wasn't on.

JOHN TITOR the Time Travelor from 2022 or thereabouts.  He was pissed off at us because "it" was our fault.  He said the civil unrest started in 2005 and then there was civil war in the United States.  Sounded ridiculous then, but now, not so much.  With the government making preparations with underground bunkers and "FEMA" camps, they seem to be getting ready for something they know about but we don't.

The other BEST GUESS has got to be the guy who calmly announced he had a photograph of Jesus Christ's crucifixion.  It's my fav also because of the way Art handled the guy.  Art had quite the love affair with time travel and it was one of his favorite subjects.  I'll never forget his introduction of his guest, the publisher of "Father Ernetti's Chronovisor: The World's First Time Travel Machine."

I have to rag on George a little here because I AM SICK OF HEARING THE SAME INTROS:  How long have you been interested in ant larvae harvesting, Tony?  Oh, 40 years?  Well, that's practically your whole life, isn't it?   Oh, it is your whole life?  Well, practically your whole life.....You're 60 now, so that's....a lot of years, Tom, well what do you think.  With your background, I'm sure you'll have something interesting for our Coast audience."

I hope so because I am about to claw my ears off.  Anyway, the chronovisor mp3 is posted here at Coastgab several different places.  Listen for when Art freaks out (WHHHHHAAAAT?) and the the dude says calmly, "I should probably tell you it's been found to have been a fake."  Prolly, yes.

Guests good listed by listeners: Peter Davenport, Katheen Keatigg, Lori Toye, Malachi Martin, Gary Patterson (IAN), Fiona Horne, Jim Sparks, Harlot the Witch(Satanist),  Dr. Tess Garritsen,, Mr. Blues Brothers Barbara and Brenden.
