Very interesting, and since Texas is a Republic and not a state, and is the only one of the fifty that has the constitutional right to secede from the union at any time, I have been wondering recently if it will be the first, or one of several, to do so.
No way of knowing whether actors will make good politicians. Reagan was awesome (in my opinion), Ah-nold can suck my kosher kielbasa. But like them, and Clint Eastwood, I'm sure if Chuck ran for Governor of Texas he'd get erected.
For Prez, though, Jack Bauer is still my man. I even had two T-shirts made to the effect. Of course, he'd have that pesky congress to deal with, instead of just his .45, but something tells me he'd get the job done. I'd even pay for his kevlar.
