How amusing. As an English teacher and author, I actually read and comprehend the written word quite well. And because I am an English teacher, I will do you a favor and tell you that you are clearly oblivious to proper grammar and punctuation and really ought to do something about it.

First of all, "...it is her that brought up Obama" should be "...it is she that brought up Obama."

Also, you're clearly rather clueless about commas, so I'll edit the rest of your post to show you where you should have used them:

"As for Obama fuck ups, you're right, he is doing a stellar job. As for me being fucked up, you have no proof to base that upon, but you're entitled to your demented visions like Corsi.

Fry has enough respect and balls to confront me if I offended her, and she would not need the help of an emasculated idiot such as yourself, carry on Captain Oblivious."

Alas, there are further problems. The last sentence is ungrammatical as well. There is no need for the conditional would not. You should have said does not. In addition, you have a comma splice in the last sentence. You have joined two independent clauses with a comma, and that is a no no. "...such as yourself, carry on Captain Oblivious" should have been "...such as yourself. Carry on Captain Oblivious."

Also, you seem not to understand that careful English speakers use the possessive case with gerunds. Therefore, you should have said "As for my being fucked up..."

One more thing: You have made another very common mistake--using a reflexive pronoun when there is no need for one. "...such as yourself..." should have been "...such as you..."

You did get one thing right; Obama is indeed doing a stellar job. But then again, considering the moron who preceded him, anyone could do a stellar job by comparison. As for proof that you are fucked up, you have provided it: you're poor command of the English language and the fact that you incorrectly believe that Obama's views are fucked up.

Thank you for the free English lesson but it does not affect or effect me as I have always admitted that I use grammar incorrectly, sorry it bothers you. I can and do write more correctly when I have to do do but I admit to not really caring and probably should do so. Agreed that Obama is better than Bush but he (Obama) is also doing some of the same things Bush has done and wanting to meet with dictators is a fucked up view and statement, saying he would have an open governement and post all legislation at least 5 days prior to enacting it and so on and not doing any of that is not fucked up at all.

Centurion - I am not sure what you meant by the "Obama's fucked up views" thing but it doesn't matter in terms of this anyway. I did mention Obama, but only to draw a clear Harvard degree connection - and how that degree is treated differently.

My point that I once again failed miserably at trying to point out was how it was you that are looking at the Harvard graduate degree as being less than a general law degree that was all. I am sure the standards of a PhD in the History Dept. of 1972 was and is very difficult and perhaps even more difficult than it is now. If it were less difficult might not the numbers of PhD's awarded be more that that of the law degrees? Either way they are both smart, equally right and wrong in the end it is we the people who will suffer not them.

Corsi may be a very well educated man, but he lets his political wants/beliefs interfere with his intellectual honesty, which to me indicates a certain level of ignorance. But to look at it another way he could be considered stupendously brilliant for understanding that truth and factually based evidence are not necesarry to get people to believe your BS, just an inclination to want to hate a certain philosophy and way of life.

I actually gave Punnett a fast blast on one of the nights he had that Kenneth Berg fellow on, pointing him to different sites that seemed to show factual evidence to refute Berg's claims. While I won't take credit for it, he thankfully seemed to put the spurs to him following that. It also gave me the chance to take a shot at their willingness to jump into the political arena for what seems now to be the majority of the broadcasts(isn't this exactly why we had the c2c of the 90's?). While i'm sure it provides an initial boost to the ratings, is the alienation of a large swath of listeners really worth it?

You are right he is trash but the fight was not about that it was about treating others with no respect at all with no prior reason nor history to do so. I hold no grudges against anyone even if we disagree, it was about "internet muscles" that was all. I thought we were discussing things prior but I may be wrong, no harm no foul.

That was definitely an F4. Do you people realize how many small midwestern towns were covered in shit because of this storm?I weep for those poor bastards in Oklahoma.  If the shitstorm had sustained for just another page or so we would of had an F5 on our hands and Kansas would have been reduced to a rotting hole of excrement.

As far as I go, in the end, that is what counts.  I don't assume or presume to be one of the talented writers you speak of, but if you laugh, I'm happy.

Here is a lesson in creative writing. First rule: Do not use semicolons. They are transvestite hermaphrodites representing absolutely nothing. All they do is show you've been to college.

Mwahahhaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Reminds me of one of my Tech Comm profs -

While running over some editing notes - he did a quick rundown on semicolons. Now, for this to really be funny - you'd have to know what a "stiff and proper" sort this guy is on the surface (thankfully I've had the pleasure of his company after a few brews) Anyway - after reciting the rules with some obvious boredom -  he looked up and said  "Any of you know what semicolons really do?"

An equally bored student said "make you look smart."  There were a couple of beats of silence as "Deadpan Dave" seemed to stare the student down, then said "that is absolutely correct" and continued with the requisite lecture.

This is "Deadpan Dave"  -- I think this shot was taken at one of our end-of-semester parties.  He must be warming up his public image, since I can't find the more formal portrait!

WHAAAAT?  Jerome Corsi has press on Drudge and lots of buzz about his new book, "Where's the Birth Certificate?"  He says he's not contractually able to talk about the stunning new evidence in his new book, so instead, he's going to talk about his OLD book, title,Amazon, blah, blah. And if you want to know more after May 17th, you can go to one of his websites:  link, link, link, link.

Infomercial--only giving the interview because he has SO MUCH RESPECT for George and the show and loves, loves, loves George, lick, lick, kiss, kiss, and because of his love for Geroge, he is supporting abiotic oil, because, like the existence of God, no one really knows anyway.

That was some sick and unintelligent funk radio.  It might have been an interesting interview if the idiot hosting the show didn't have his head stuck so far up everybody's ass.  Is there anyway that some of you stealthy types out there could find out if George has ever taken an IQ test?

Gosh... Corsi or Jones.... Who's the bigger nutjob? Eh... Corsi. At least Jones gets something sorta right every blue moon. I don't care where you got a degree from, if you can't accept a "certificate of live birth" as a legal document, you're a world-class idiot. Universities should start revoking the degrees of jackasses like this fool. And before any of you defenders of this dumbass come to his rescue on this point, shift your brain into "think". First, that's exactly what my birth certificate says, and secondly, I couldn't get a "long form" because no such thing exists! Where was I born? OHIO.... Just like nearly a dozen presidents! Sorry, but anyone of any power who'd take the time to jack off such ass-backwards clueless idiots is lowering themselves tremendously. There used to be a day when idiots like this would open their mouths and we would all laugh at him until we pissed our pants. Now days people BUY HIS BOOKS! about the only group I can't stand more than Corsi are the 9-11ers. But to ALL of these mental veggies I have one thing to say: research is NOT inventing a theory then cherry-picking facts that sorta support you queer mental process. It's letting facts lead you to a conclusion!

There are lots of factors influencing performance other than IQ.  There's "Ageless Male" for example--hormones.

Or maybe the inability to compute if a person would still be alive when you are given his birth year, or not knowing offhand the difference between Gaza and Giza COULD be a symptom of dimentia or distraction or even lack of sleep.  Even nervousness, although a host whose most frequent comment is "Uh-huh" probably is not even alert, let alone nervous.

Perhaps George could take a cue from the traffic controllers, he could listen to music or read a good book during the show.  Like the one the guest wrote.  Just a thought.
