Topic: Are you as tired of hearing about George's aunt as I am?

Have you noticed how almost every night GN finds a way to work his aunt into the show? Hardly a guests escapes being asked if he or she has heard of her. Often they don't want to hurt poor George's feelings and pretend to know who she is.

I don't think the question, "Are you familiar with the work of my late aunt, Dr. Shafica Karagulla" has ever been answered affirmatively. It cracks me up everytime.

Nobody seems to know who this person is except for George.

Actually, I didn't even listen to the show. I just looked at the website to see who the guest was and all those annoying Shafica moments came flooding in.

Doesn't seem to be much action around here. Has everyone just been listening on Sundays like I have? Knapp gives me little to complain about.

George Knapp is by far the best host C2C has, but I don't think he wants to be the full-time C2C host. He's already got a real job as a reporter.

Excruciating...more than that, that would be like a trip through hell. I was getting caught up on some streamlink stuff I had and sure enough he brought this bitch up again and her suspicious death with the radio in the bathtub, if the truth were known she probably put it in there herself thinking it would kill her crab and flea infestations. In reality she probably couldn't stand George.

Oh yea. I too was listening to this bullshit last night. Apparently, he got a guest who put both him and Art in the same category re: Atlantis people. Congrats George.

The non-stop talk about his aunt and the details of it was so excrutiating, I wondered, will someone maybe be out to make george "sleep with the fishes" so to speak? I mean Clear Channel just laid off lots of workers. Lots of SALES workers. People who made a living on selling george and (gulp, yekh) Rush Stinkbomb to advertisers. I'd be pissed of that POS gets to stay on while I had to get on unemployment. Keep sucking george. Keep on sucking. See how far it takes you.

I'd actually get a KICK out of this project.  However, I don't save most George MP3's - and don't listen closely enough to know where to look even if I did.

Was George on the air when she dropped the radio into the bathtub? That might explain what happened.

LOL!!!!! Here's a reply of mine from the OGNST from this past July....I wouldn't be surprised if he's been bugging people about his Aunt since he was 5.

Tonight's guest is really pretty interesting but way over snoory's head. He's been reduced and befuddling the guest with his usual stupid remarks. This guest really should be hosted by Art (like Michio Kaku).

It would also explain why George talks about her so much. He feels bad? I don't care! that's why you make millions, to pay a doctor to give you therapy. Stop using the show as therapy George. Cheap bastard. Maybe he's a scientologist.
